Queen Natala of Navarrae was captured by Redbeard and when he was defeated by the 6th Phantom was rescued and set free. She was able to be returned, with treasure and a new fleet of ships including ex pirates for sailors as compensation.

Due to the 6th Phantom being shy towards Natala and her status it was up to the Queen to propose marriage to the Phantom. He of course said yes.

Natala as you would expect from royalty is strong minded, smart, knows what she wants and refined.

In the Lee Falk story she abdicated from the throne but in other stories she is still involved in some capacity in the nation of Navarrae.
