Paul Colbert was a young French missionary that was captured by river pirates and rescued by Julie when she first donned the Phantom uniform. They impressed each other and married soon after. They had four kids together and Paul spent his life in Bangalla on multiple missions they set up including one in a leprosy colony.

Paul is described as handsome, physical capable of punching out bad guys and studied under Louis Pasteur in France.

Paul died of malaria likely in 1885.
