Captain Blood sacked Sanloi in the lifetime of the 8th Phantom and killed him.

He captured Princess Jasmine and held her captive. He tricked the 8th Phantom into swapping his life for hers, then made him walk the plank and shot him in the back.

The 9th Phantom then tracked him down off the coast of a modern day Madagascar and he died falling of a ships mast during a fight.
