Big brute of a man who was under the leadership of Black Glove before he dared to withhold treasure from him. He was whipped and then dumped in the water to be eaten by sharks. Rescued by the 5th Phantom and formed a friendship with both the 5th and 6th.

Was the prototype of using pirates to turn them and become part of a team to help the Phantom fight evil.

He rescued the 5th Phantom after being defeated by Black Glove and then helped the 6th finish him off. Died in the process.
